Sussex Road and Race

We are pleased to have a new driver line up for 2009. Lee Allen no 26 and Kevin O'Connor no 9.

It all started at Rockingham not the greatest of weekends as misfire on lee's car,while kevin did well for his first race meeting .

Next to Brandshatch our home circuit feeling abit over confident we qualifed poor but by the last race lee was on pole but lost the lead of the race to get our first podium finish which was second .Kevin managed to have three good races and just missed a podium finish.

Donnington was another good weekend both lee and kevin just missing being in the top three until the last race when lee managed to hold of afighting pack to finish first.

Castle Combe a very wet weekend but yet again both drivers sitting in forth and fifths until lee did it again finishing first in the third race.

On to croft  we had the pace but could not hold a position which we decided was down to not having kw suspension on lee's car.Kevin was driving well still just missing out on podium finishes but still great drives for his first season ever in car racing.

Last one of the season new shocks on lee's car feeling good on set up and it proved to be right two thirds now we have the pace and set up ready for next season.Kevin on the other hand was fighting for position when he had a hard crash damaging the front end in the first race, not detered we worked hard and late into the night to repair his car. He went out in the second race and drove brilliantly from last to forth .The last race another  light crash while at the front damaging his steering  where he lost pace to hang on . Many thanks to both drivers for a great season with them both finishing fiifth in there classes.
